We, Ron and Joe, were in the mood for a little silliness today (as opposed to most days when we’re pretty much all business). Meet Chip, Oakley, Macy, Maggie and Max – the most recent additions to our Silly Pets page. Here’s what their Aunt Jen had to say when she sent us their photo: “I recently took a water color class and wanted to surprise my sister by painting her dogs. So I asked her to send me a picture of all of them together. The only way she could get them all to sit (well actually stand) nicely next to one another was to stand in her bathtub while holding a treat. They focused on the baby carrot while she snapped the pic.” We salute you and your sisiter, Jen. You two spared no effort in bringing a little more silliness into the world. We, Ron and Joe, will sleep a little better tonight because you did. Woof.

Meet Pepper. The prototypical girl next door. She loves movies, dancing and laughing. “Give me a boy who can make me laugh,” she exclaims “and I’ll follow him anywhere! But no leashes.” (Giggles)

Pepper is a lanky giant Schnauzer who is inspired by Marilyn Monroe. She often goes out in her platinum wig and turns more than a head or two. Woof. And, like Marilyn, Pepper is an actress. “Someday I hope to produce, direct and star in a remake of Lassie. You know, because Lassie was always played by a boy. I want to show what a real girl could do!”

Pepper also spends a lot of time worrying about the environment, and hopes that someday there will be no more wars. Keep laughing Pepper and maybe your dreams will come true!
